The Bulwick Country House Car Boot Sale was a resounding success and very well attended on a beautiful September Sunday. All kinds of treasures were to be found as the owners of local houses had emptied their attics with a view to making some money for themselves as well as contributing to two excellent causes, Carefree Northants and Combat Stress. The event raised in excess of £13,000. As well as over 80 Car Boots there were many local stalls and attractions including Singletons Hog Roast, The Nene Valley Brewery, The Pickled Village, Home Made Refreshments and a Cake Stall, an Ice Cream Bicycle, Good as New/Vintage Clothes, a Tombola, The Thrapston Town Band, The Red Hot Chillies Jazz Band and much much more!
